I hate to admit it, but this was my first Desiree Holt book I have read. I keep asking myself why. Talk about HOT, the chemistry between Ryan & Sable was that, from the first time their eyes meet. Sable tried to fight it, with being the new vet in town and a woman at that, she felt the ranchers would not take her seriously around their livestock, she felt she had something to prove. She didn’t have time for a committed relationship and she felt a relationship wouldn’t work out with her with the hours she kept as a vet. Boom! Ryan and her had their first round in the sack and another and another. Could she keep it friends with benefits and not want more. She was starting to question herself if she wanted more with Ryan and if she did could a relationship work with him with her crazy hours, just when she was willing to give him more, KABOOM!!! Ryan goes and does something stupid, I wanted to go through the book and strangle him. But at the end he redeems himself.
If you are looking for a quick, HOT cowboy read I recommend you pick up a copy of Naked Hunger by Desiree Holt. You will be fanning yourself just like I was. I can not wait to read another of Desiree Holt’s books.
