EskieMama & Dragon Lady Reads Review: A Swing and A Dare by Kasey Belle

A Swing And A Dare
Best Friends Series #1
Kasey Belle

Navy SEAL Jack Claiborne and Veterinarian Abby Sutter have been best friends since the day they met on a school playground at the age of seven. Both have been secretly in love with each other since the opposite sex magically no longer had cooties and too scared of losing the other and their lifelong friendship to admit it.

When Abby is attacked, Jack is forced to face reality and admit, by allowing fear and what-if’s to influence his decisions, he’d failed them both. Jack realizes whether he made it “official” or not, losing Abby meant losing his heart. It meant a lifetime of never knowing the deep, unbending, and unconditional love reserved for soulmates and that was unacceptable.

With the help of his teammates, Jack launches the most important operation of his life. The objective: To acquire Abby and a happily ever after for both of them. Failure is not an option, neither is death.

NOTE: Due to strong language and graphic scenes of a sexual nature, this book is not recommended for readers under 18. If these things offend you, this book is not for you. However, if you like sweet, sexy, alpha heroes, sassy, strong heroines, and serious heat in your romance, then you came to the right book. All books in the Best Friends Series stand alone.

Review                                  4 1/2 Stars

A Swing and a Dare was a sweet romance, I totally enjoyed the book, it had laughs, suspense, one hot alpha navy SEAL, one sassy female & hot steamy sex. Jack and Abby became friends the day Jack came to Abby’s rescue after a bully pushed her off the swing at school age seven and gave him a black eye when he triple dog dared her to show him she could throw a punch. The both hid their true feelings for each other, they didn’t want to ruin their best friend status, until the day Jack came home from a mission to find out that Abby had been attacked, Operation Acquire Abby formed with him and his SEAL buddies.

I loved the interaction between Jack and Abby sometimes it was comical and the passion between the two was WOW. When Jack would go all alpha on Abby she knocked him down. If you are looking for a lazy afternoon read I recommend you grab a copy of A Swing and A Dare either the original (hot & spicy) or the sweet copy (tame down sex), you will fall in love with Jack and Abby.

I received a free copy from the author for my honest review.
