SYNOPSIS:
Miss Alexandra Farris lost her heart to her older brother’s friend, Lord Maxon Collins, long, long ago. Despite her girlhood attempts to win him, he never noticed her. Well am a book lover and read just about any genre that I can, that does not mean I like them all though.
This book left a lot to be desired, well for me anyway, it was too slow, the only thing that seemed to do well was the antics that Miss Alexandra Farris pulled to keep her heart from falling for Lord Collins a friend of her brothers.
I know that this time period is nothing like we have today or is it, could be, but when the entire book concentrates on only 3 characters trying to out do one another, well it was not for me, some of you might find it fascinating and even good, so do not let me stop you from reading.

Naomi Boom is an author who never expected to love writing. Her inspiration struck on a search for the perfect historical romance novel to read. Nothing sounded appealing, so she decided to write her own. That one novel has morphed into a series, and hopefully many, many more.
She resides in her home state of South Dakota with her husband and toddler. Her dream is to someday find an acreage where she can raise chickens and continue her writing.
