BLURB:
Drawn together by their love of animals, Aria DeLuca and Caleb Hawkins burn for each other. They never suspected that malignant forces were successfully plotting Caleb’s ruin from the moment he entered her life.
When the flood of a century strikes Aria’s hometown, an alienated Caleb is all that stands between her and catastrophic loss.

Exclusive Exceprt:
Caleb was waiting in front of his room when Aria’s truck pulled into the motel parking lot. The truck was black and looked as efficient and business-like as the doc herself, an illusion that was blown away by his first sight of her. She was wearing shorts that showed him a pair of long, tanned legs that took his breath away. Her tee shirt clung in all the right places and made him break into a sweat. He had never seen her so carefree. At this moment he saw no sign of an efficient, business-like vet.
She leaned over and opened the door for him. “Hop in.”
“You look nice,” he said, feeling hot blood flood his face. What was the matter with him? Did she impress him so much because he hadn’t had female companionship in so long? He worked for her, for goodness sake.
“So do you,” she replied with a smile that almost took his breath away. “Blue suits you.”
The twenty dollars he had spent to buy the shirt at the local discount store suddenly seemed like a great investment.
