An ancient legend spanning eras, continents, and worlds. To some, it’s nothing more than a dream. To others, a pretty fairy tale handed down through the generations. For those in critical need of their own happy ending, a gift.

Excerpt:
“I won’t hurt you.” The dragon’s powerful voice held a soothing quality. Then it ruined the moment by leaning down to sniff her. “Mmm. You smell like apples and honey.” To her amazement, that long, forked tongue re-emerged and flicked gently along her neck. Its texture felt incongruously like velvet.
Lily managed to bite back a hysterical shriek even as her lower lip trembled. She clamped it between her teeth to steady it, before venturing, “A-Are you going to eat me?”
Every muscle and bone in her body hurt. Her world had upended itself. Beyond exhausted, she longed for this nightmare to end.
If a dragon could frown, then this dragon was definitely frowning. Its fierce expression sent additional shudders through her, and she fully expected those massive jaws to come for her at any moment.
As hard as she struggled for calm, tears leaked from her eyes when he raised long, sharp claws and reached for her. Too frightened to move, she turned her head away. The thrumming of her heart pounded through her entire body as she waited for the sharp talons to slash into her. Instead, the dragon carefully nudged her cheek until she was forced to raise her face and meet its magnetic stare.
“I said I wouldn’t hurt you.” Then slowly and gently the creature unfurled its tail, the very tip pressing against her lower back as if encouraging her to gain her feet, and held her steady until she was standing securely on the ground.
Before Lily had a chance to run, there was a bright flash of light, then a shimmering of brilliant colors. Her jaw slackened at the sight of a man standing before her.
An extremely handsome, naked man.

Review:
5 stars
She is thrust into a real that is made of fantasy and such passion she did not know existed, she finds her self amid creatures whose existence defies everything she knows. Little by little though she manages to piece together a past she could not have imagined in a million of years.
She is claimed by Kord, Prince of Battle Draconian, their love will not be denied, even as malevolent forces plot to rip them apart.
Will Lily and Kord find the happiness they seek, will they vanquish their enemies, read the book its a beautiful story and characters well most of them are likable.
I received a free copy for my honest review!

CiCi Cordelia is the pen name for the writing team of BFFs Char Chaffin and Cheryl Yeko.
Published authors in their own right, they share a love for well-written stories infused with their favorite romantic genres: paranormal, suspense, and erotica. Both are fans of Alpha Men and the women they’d lay down their lives for.
As a writing team, they bring a solid know-how for accomplishing the foundation of what makes a great romance read: a strong story, a passionate romance, fascinating characters, and a happy-ever-after ending.
Individually they can be found here:

DeleteI was just wondering what the author is working on next?
ReplyDeleteHI, Cindy... Sorry I didn't answer your questions earlier. I just popped in and saw them today. :) Char and I are currently working on the 2nd book in our Brides of Little Creede Series, The Dance Hall Wife. The Substitute Wife is currently up on pre-order. Personally, under my name, I have a new release up on Pre-order right now, Loving a Hero, the 3rd book in my Hero series. Thank you for asking...
DeleteWhere did the idea for this book come from?
ReplyDeleteAs an editor for Soul Mate Publishing, I was kicking around ideas of a SM series, and came up with the idea of a Soul Mate Tree. Our story Realm of the Dragon came together as the first book in the multi-author series. 1 book a month was released throughout 2017. :)
DeleteWhat's your writing process/routine like?
ReplyDeleteI get up and start writing or editing. Take time for a workout or house chores, then back at it...
DeleteWho are some of your favorite authors?
ReplyDeleteMary Burton and Larissa Ione. Love them!
DeleteWhat's in your to read pile these days?
ReplyDeleteLarissa's new Demonica Underworld Novella, Hawkyn. Just purchased it yesterday.
DeleteAbout how many books a month do you read?
ReplyDeleteNot enough. Given my writing goals, and my editor and administrative role with Soul Mate Publishing, it unfortunately leaves little time to squeeze in a read for enjoyment alone...
DeleteOut of all the characters you created who is your favorite?
ReplyDeleteWow...that's a hard question. I love all my characters... lol. But if I had to choose, I guess it'd be Nate, my first hero. As a debut novel there is a lot of writing in the book that I'd like a do-over with, except Nate. I love his gentle, but alpha ways. Besides, my publisher says to not look back and just keep moving forward and 'write your next book'. Words to live by... Though I am getting the chance to write the story again, as I just completed adapting it into a screenplay. So much fun!!
DeleteWhat do you do if you get stuck with writer's block?
ReplyDeleteWalk away from my computer and read for pleasure. It's the best stress relief ever....
DeleteIf you could meet any author past or present who would it be and why?
ReplyDeleteLast day! Wishing you much success and luck in your future writing career.
