EskieMama & Dragon Lady Reads Review: Claiming Grace by Susan Stoker

Claiming Grace
Ace Security #1
by
Susan Stoker

Blurb:

For Logan Anderson, moving on from a traumatic past means moving back to his hometown of Castle Rock, Colorado, to start a personal-security business with his brothers. But it’s not long before Logan runs into Grace Mason, his best friend from high school…and the woman who never answered his letters during his Army years.

Grace was pleasantly surprised to see Logan return to Castle Rock, despite their falling-out ten years ago. Everyone always assumed they would end up together, including Grace, who had eyes only for him. But as Logan eventually escaped their town, Grace got pulled further into her family’s controlling grasp—and farther away from the man she loved.

Now, united by scars both visible and not, the two must fight to free Grace from the suffocating hold of her family. But the Masons won’t let go easily—and they’ll do whatever it takes to keep the couple apart.

Review:                                 5 stars

Three brothers Logan, Blake and Nathan mourn the loss of their Father, to the same thing that drove the three brothers out of town, now to heal and move forward they move back so they can move towards their future and put their past behind.
Logan Anderson return to Castle Rock is set, he and his brothers decide to do something to help other victims of abuse, this was motivated by what happened to their Father and to themselves when they were children.
Shortly after moving back Logan runs into Grace Mason, his best friend from high school, and the woman who never answered any of his letters while he was in the Army.
Grace is happy to see Logan back, despite what happened to them 10 years ago. Everyone including her, assumed that she and Logan would end up together. But as Logan escaped the town Grace on the other hand was pulled further into the grasps of her controlling Parents.
Now, united by scars both visible and not, the two must fight to free Grace from the suffocating hold of her family. But the Masons won’t let go easily—and they’ll do whatever it takes to keep the couple apart. Will Logan keep her away from her parents, will their love survive not only the 10 years apart but the schemes of her parents.
Susan Stoker again weaved her magic, the book is fantastic, a great story, can't wait to read more of her books.

I received a free copy for my honest review!
