This was the second book I have read by Cynthia D’Alba, the first one was part of a book bundle Cowboy Twelve Pack a short novella A Cowboy Seduction that I brought for one author but feel in love with Cynthia D’Alba’s writing, I always told myself I would read more of her books but never did, until now with Texas Two Step and she did not disappoint this reader.

Mitch Landry and Olivia Montgomery Gentry had not set eyes on each other for six years after Mitch walked out of Olivia’s life telling her he wasn’t ready to settle down and for her to date other people. He broke Olivia’s heart all over again when he married another woman. They meet after their six year separation at DFW airport, Mitch flew in from south Texas to be the best man in his friend Wes’s wedding and Olivia was there to pick her up part of her maid of honor duties to her best friend Emily. Will the sparks rekindle after being together for the wedding or have they let each other go? Will Olivia let Mitch in on her little secret she has been harboring for six years?

Texas Two Step had everything this reader enjoys in an enjoyable read! Second chance love, a very sexy cowboy, a non-whiny heroine, steamy sex, lots of laughs & a tear at the end. Oh boy I can’t forget Olivia’s five year old Adam he is like any other five year old snips and snails, and puppy dogs tails, a cute ornery 5 year old anyone would fall in love with. Cynthia D’Alba has gained a new reader in this gal! I can not wait to read more in the Texas Montgomery Maverick series! If you love second chance love romances and sexy cowboys I recommend you pick up a copy of Texas Two Step and fall in love with Adam just as I did.
