Stirring Attraction was the 2nd book in A Second Shot series & I was priviliged to read both books & Sara Jane did not disappoint with this one! Dominic & Lily have been in love since high school, but Dominic being the asshat he is thought when he joined the Army & Rangers, he would let Lily go until he could come home a hero & be everything she needed, until he was wounded in action with the Rangers. He avoided Forever, Oregon & Lily altogether to lick his wounds & have himself a pity party, until he is forced back to Forever to help Lily. This was such a heartwarming second chance at love, you could just feel how much both characters loved each other & really didn't give up on their love even though the asshat Dominic was willing to give up on it cause he couldn't come back the hero that he thought she needed, but in the end he finally realized what kind of hero Lily truly needed. I love a romance with small town atomsphere, nosy but caring family & friends & a few laughs, that is what I got in Stirring Attraction. Sara Jane won a fan in the the first book in this series Serving Trouble & she definitely kept her. If you are looking a second chance romance I recommend you pick up a copy of Stirring Attraction & find out why his reader thought Dominic an asshat in the beginning but became the hero Lily needed in the end.
