Devon Reilly, investigative journalist for his hit TV show, Justice Served, is in Burrawang Bend to solve the forty-year-old cold case murder. But, he didn't bargain on Marlee keeping him from investigating the case and he soon questions where her loyalties lie. With the living? Or with the dead? But when Marlee and her son’s life are put in danger, Devon knows he is the only man who can keep them alive. But what happens when he soon realizes he is the bigger threat to the woman and kid he loves?

Review:                                4 stars

Fun to read about where I was born, Australia and even more fun was the fact that it was an exiting book to read.
Marlee is the suspect's and victim's granddaughter, and she is doing her best to clear her Grandfathers name. No one is going to stop her or stand in her way of this. But she now must turn to the one man she was so determined to run out of town.
Devon Reilly is an investigative journalist for a TV show called Justice Served and he is in Burrawang Bend to try and solve the 40 year murder case.
What he did not count on was for Marlee to keep him from investigating the murder and now he questions where her loyalties are, with the living or with the dead, but soon Marlee and her sin is in danger. Devon is not the only man that can keep them alive, and what will happen when he realizes that the he is the bigger threat to the woman and kid he loves.
Will they survive, will their love survive and will they solve the 40 year old mystery?

I received a free copy for my honest review!
