EskieMama & Dragon Lady Reads Review: Luke's Redemption by Anni Fife

Luke's Redemption
King Security #1
by
Anni Fife

Blurb:

Chased by her criminal kingpin father, Katya Dalca runs to New Orleans and straight into the arms of Luke Hunter. Sucked into the carnal world of the French Quarter, she succumbs to Luke’s potent sexuality. He not only steals her breath, he steals her heart and the only leverage she has against her father. She is left with no choice except to pick up the pieces and rebuild her life alone.

Undercover DEA agent Luke Hunter thought his newest assignment—recover a stolen flash drive to gain the trust of the Russian mob—was like any other. But his target brings him to his knees, and after one taste of her intoxicating beauty, he's in too deep. Doing his job means walking away, leaving his heart behind with nothing but a promise to reunite. It's a promise he can't keep.

When Katya's past reaches out and her world unravels, her only hope is the one man she is most vulnerable to—Luke.

Review:                                4 stars

Well Russians are portrayed as the mob now, so were the Italians and the Irish, I wonder. Well it does make it good reading, interesting and suspenseful and enough sex to keep you glued to the book.
So Katya is on the run from her Father the (Mob) never mind my thought on that, made me smile and giggle. she runs to New Orleans and right into the arms of Luke Hunter. And she falls for Luke , he steals her heart and the only thing she had that would help her keep leverage against her Father.
Undercover DEA agent Luke Hunter thought his newest assignment—recover a stolen flash drive to gain the trust of the Russian mob—was like any other. I would honestly laugh, that he thought this was ordinary assignment. But Katya brought him down and after just one night with her, he knows he is in too deep. But doing his job means walking away, and never see her again, is this something Luke can do?
As Katya's past finds her and her world starts to come apart, her only hope is Luke, will they survive will she trust him again, you will have to read it to find out, my lips are sealed.
