EskieMama Reads Review: Change of Heart by T.J. Kline

Add to Goodreads

Bad luck has plagued Leah McCarran most of her life, until the tide turns and she lands her new dream job as a therapist at Heart Fire Ranch. But when her car breaks down and she finds herself stranded, the playboy who shows up to her rescue makes Leah wonder if her luck just went from bad to worse.
Gage Granger has risen above the circumstances of his youth, enough that people now believe he has the Midas touch, especially in business. But when one mistake suddenly threatens everything he’s built, he takes some time to visit family near Heart Fire and figure a way out of the mess. The last thing he expects to find is a feisty therapist who needs his help, even if she won’t admit it.
Leah learned a long time ago that other people will always let her down. She doesn’t want that kind of hurt again, but Gage isn’t giving up. And finding out he’s staying next door isn’t going to make it any easier to avoid the kind man who is set on changing her heart.
An Avon Romance

Review:                               5 Stars

Change of Heart was a heartwarming enjoyable book. This book had me laughing one moment & find a tear falling from my eyes the next, those are my kind of books.  The interaction between Gage & Leah was outstanding & who couldn't fall in love with Gage, he felt his attraction growing for Leah but held it back so he could be her friend since she was new to the community & didn't have any. But then when he found out what all she had went through he more determine to be her friend & bank his feelings for her & let her decide when she wanted to take their friendship to the next level.  Oh my what wasn't there to love about this book, it had a small community atmosphere where everyone knew who Gage & Leah felt about each other before they truly realized, emotional rollcoaster each main character was going through their own problems but learned from each other what they truly wanted in life. This is the first book I have read by T.J Kline & hopefully not my last, she has earned a new fan in this reader. If you are looking for a heartwarming romances, with nosy but caring friends & family, adorable fur critters, one minute you are laughing & the next you find a tear rolling out your eye then I recommend you pick up a copy of Change of Heart!
I received a free copy for my honest review!

Happy Reading!!!
