I really enjoyed this book, I just love the fake girl friend storyline those are one of my go to books, & this one did not disappoint. Kate agrees to be James fake girlfriend for his sister's wedding, to keep his mother & his ex-fiancee at bay to show them he was over his ex fiancee Brooke, but never realizing her feelings for him as a friend could turn into so much more, & it scared the heck out of her. Kate is afraid to let anyone close except her best friends Beth, Ryan & her sister since losing her dad. She uses a secret to scare James away when he gets to close. If you like the fake girlfriend storyline than this one is for you. I received a free copy for my honest review.

Kelly Eadon is a romance writer living in Richmond, Virginia with her husband and a house full of rescue animals, aka “the kraken”. She swears like a sailor and says whatever pops into her head. In order to counteract her big mouth, she wears high heels whenever possible. In her spare time she spins, kick boxes and attempts to renovate her farmhouse. She hates sanding drywall, loves to cook, drinks lots of wine, gets scary competitive at trivia, and enjoys time spent exploring with her rescued beagle mixes.

ReplyDeleteThis story idea of the wedding date, is like Cinderella. I always enjoy hearing it again, and it's always exciting how the author will add a new spin to it.
