EskieMama & Dragon Lady Reads Review: Swole: Wet Wednesday by Golden Czermak

Swole: Wet Wednesday
by Golden Czermak

Blurb:

WARNING: This is a short story written for mature readers. It is pure escapism, containing adult themes, coarse language, erotic sexual situations, male-male sex, and nudity.

Sequel to the gay erotica short story Swole: Chest Day and Swole: Leg Day

JONNY CAMERON is a nerdy guy stuck between TRENT CASSIDY, the rugged alpha with a no holds barred attitude and JARED HUGHES, a romantic jock for whom he has budding feelings.

Can Jonny bring himself to make a choice, or is he forever destined to be trapped between these two buff studs, reach ready to release?

Review:

A tad late with my review, but here it is. Loved it just as much as I did the other 2, and must say it would be nice to be stuck between 2 who want me.
Jonny Cameron is a nerdy guy stuck between Trent Cassidy, the rugged alpha with a no holds barred attitude and Jared Hughes, a romantic jock for whom he has budding feelings.
But will say its a hard choice to make and now I have to wait for the rest of the story, but I bet my bottom dollar that it will be as good as all Golden's stories.

Danced Close

Portland, Oregon, is one of the hottest cities in America. Just ask all the hard-working men sweating it up behind the counters of the restaurants, boutiques, and cafés all over town . . .
Newly clean and sober, Todd’s taken a shine to his job at Portland’s most talked about bakery. It’s not just the delicious desserts they sell, but the tasty treats who keep walking through the door. That certainly includes Kendall Rose, a wedding planner with eyes the color of brown sugar and skin to match. Todd doesn’t try to hide his attraction to Kendall’s elegant confidence and unique style, even as he worries about exposing the secrets of his past.

For Kendall, the attention is just part of the anything-goes Portland he’s grown to love. But he’s still looking for that special someone who will embrace all of him—including his gender fluidity. So he takes a chance and asks Todd to be his partner in a dance class leading to a fundraiser. When the music starts and he takes Todd in his arms, Kendall is shocked at how good it feels. Turns out taking the lead for once isn’t a mistake. In fact, it might be time to take the next step and follow his heart . .

I could have kissed him right then for that reaction. He didn’t go all dude bro about the prospect of being led by someone wearing high heels or get embarrassed that I owned said shoes.

“Can I ask something?” he asked after a few more turns. He had that serious look again, but he’d been so cool so far, I was more than willing to risk some discomfort.

“Sure.”

“Your lips . . . they’re so shiny . . . You do a gloss, right? Ever do color?”

His eyes were indeed locked right on my mouth. I got a little thrill knowing that he thought about my mouth.

“I’ve been known to.” At this point, it had been enough years that I wasn’t going to apologize for the contents of my makeup case. But unlike when a lot of people asked me about it, I didn’t get all defen- sive with Todd, who seemed more . . . thoughtful in his curiosity than some. “Why? Would you like that next week?”

He was silent a long moment, gnawing on his own lip. I was seri- ously going to have to get the guy some balm the way he abused the poor things. “Yeah, I think I might.” He sounded a bit surprised at himself, giving me a shy smile.

Anders floored the car and raced to Kynan’s mansion. He followed the directions and couldn’t believe how easily he found the place. At the end of the street named Millionaire’s Row, he located the main gate. He still couldn’t get over how fancy the houses were on the street. He’d never seen such luxury in his entire life.

Once he reached the gate, the doors opened. He hoped the doors weren’t automatic and that someone operated them, but little shocked him now. He drove up the winding paved drive to the house. He gasped when the home came into view.

“Three floors,” he muttered. “Goddess…how many wings? This place is nuts.” He stopped near the front door. “I hope this works.”

A wolf stepped up to the car.

Anders hesitated before opening the door. If Vita trusted them, then he had to move on faith. But he didn’t know the wolf. A vampire joined the wolf, and both stared at him.

The wolf shifted into the form of a man. A very naked man. Anders averted his gaze, although it took everything within him not to stare at the shifter’s dick.

“Hi.” The vampire opened the car door. “You must be Anders.”

“Is this the Laing mansion?” He gripped the handle and didn’t exit the car.

“It is. I’m Padraig. Kynan sent me out here to help you. My partner, Joachim, came along for protection, but he forgot to bring clothes.” Padraig rolled his eyes. “I don’t mind, though. I’d rather him be here in case you pull bullshit.”

“Trust me. I’m not.” He left the vehicle and raced around the back. He opened the passenger door. “Carry Vita. I’ll take Galen. We gotta get them inside.”

“Of course.” Padraig nodded. “We bite, but we won’t bite you.”

Anders glanced over at Joachim. “Thanks?”

Another person stepped onto the porch.

Padraig scooped Vita into his arms. “That’s Kynan. He’s the most powerful of all of us. If anyone can help, it’s him.”

Kynan folded his arms but said nothing.

Anders bit back a groan. He gathered Galen into his arms and hurried after Padraig into the house. He held Galen tighter and winced. The vampire should’ve been heavier in his grasp. His heart bled for Galen. He should’ve been the one with Galen today. He should’ve ignored his better judgement and sucked Galen off at the club. If he’d have done all of that and told Galen he loved him like a friend and maybe more…Galen wouldn’t be sick.
